The membership of SCAPPA is divided into three distinct groups.

1. Instutional Members - state college, university and technical college members.
   
2. Affiliate Members - school districts, state organizations such as SC Energy Office, SC DHEC, SC Dept. of education.
   
3. Subscriber Members - commercial companies and organizations including sponsors of the annual SCAPPA Conference.
